Onion Lake Energy
Onion Lake Energy is an Oil and Gas development owned and operated by Onion Lake Cree Nation.
As a result of a successful TLE vote on March 12, 2003, Chief and Council sign a Joint Venture – Oil & Gas Agreement with Pan Global Energy Ltd./Tennax Energy Ltd. Thus, Onion Lake Energy Ltd. is formed as a limited company that holds the Oil & Gas permit on approximately 160,000 Acres of Band Land.
